The GeocodeProvider provides an interface to convert address strings into latitude and longitude coordinates and back to addresses again. @deprecated As of AEM 6.4

geocode

Coordinates geocode(java.lang.String address)
             throws AddressException

Deprecated.

Convert an address into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude).

Parameters:

address - Address string to geocode.

Returns:

Geocoded coordinates for address

Throws:

AddressException - when conversion fails

reverseGeocode

java.lang.String reverseGeocode(Coordinates coords)
                         throws AddressException

Deprecated.

Convert geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) into a human-readable address.

Parameters:

coords - Coordinates to determine address from.

Returns:

Closest matching address to provided coordinates.

Throws:

AddressException - when conversion fails
